Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the shop, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of the shop's operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet revenue targets
- Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve performance goals
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Recruit, train, and schedule staff members
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and reporting
Experience:
- Proven experience in retail management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in math for inventory management and financial analysis
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and training staff
- Knowledge of stock management practices
